11-02-05 - New Sound Equipment

A new sound processor and sound head was installed today. The CP650 processor and CAT702 sound head (the thing that reads the digital sound from the film) are the latest technologies from Dolby Inc, which include the EX sound format! The new equipment replaces equipment damaged due to water damage last summer.

This means that you, the audience, get to hear all the films in perfect digital quality.
