Responsibilities of an Inter College Football Captain
Registration
Enter all players’ purple card numbers on the Student Exchange System in the Student Activities Office by the end of week two of the 1st term
Provide an email and contact number for all players
Update this information if new players are added to the team throughout the year
Pay the affiliation to the Lancashire FA and the referee costs for the year to the Sports Co-ordinator
Ensure all players purchase a sports centre membershhip card
Matches
Check the details surrounding fixtures on the lusu web site When possible these will be updated if a match is postponed
Email the Sports Co-ordinator the result of the match and mark out of 10 for the referee immediately after the match
Inform all players of the consequences of being cautioned or sent off during a match
Yellow and Red Card Bookings
If a player is booked with either a yellow or red card the referee will send the relevant paperwork to the Lancashire FA
On receipt of the details relating to a fine the secretary to the league will inform the player and the Captains of both college teams of this fact
It is the responsibility of the Captains to ensure the player completes the paperwork and pays the fine by the deadline
If a player refuses to pay the fine it is the responsibility of the Club to pay the fine by the deadline and to seek reimbursement from the offending player
Meetings
Throughout your year as Captain you will be expected to attend the Inter College Football Committee meetings of which there will be at least one per term. Information relating to the format of these meetings can be found in the IC constitution which can be downloaded from this page.
Inter College Football Cup
The draw for the cup will be made at the first ICFC meeting of the year and will commence towards the end of the 1st term however A league matches will take preference over cup matches

Any decision to delay the start of the IC Cup matches rests with the AU President
Inter College Football League Handbook
It is important that you download and read this document as it contains the rules governing the league. If anyone wishes to propose an amendment to these rules this may be done at the AGM during the 3rd term
The league constitution is part of the Inter College constitution which is bye law 26 of the LUSU constitution and it is also governed by the Athletic Union constitution which is bye law 25. These are available here
The league must comply with the Lancaster University Men's Football Safety Code of Practice
