Responsibilities of an Inter College Netball Captain
Meetings
As a Captain of a IC Netball team you are automatically a member of the Inter College Netball Committee and as such are expected to attend the committee meetings which take place throughout the year and usually only one per term. Information relating to the meetings for the year will be on the meetings page.
Recruitment of Players
Registration of team
Register all the members of the squad by inputting their purple card numbers on the Student Exchange System using a computer in the Student Activities Office by the end of week two of the 1st term
Update this list if new players join
Pay the umpire fees at the start
Ensure all members are in possession of a standard sports centre membership
Matches
Check the details surrounding all matches using the LUSU web site
Send both the result of the match and the score for the umpires to the fixtures secretary after the match based on the following
Pay the fees for the umpires to the Sports Co-ordinator
Rules
The league is governed by the Inter College Constitution which is bye law 26 of the LUSU Constitution and also the league rules
The game of Netball follows the All England Netball rules
