Code of Conduct

It is the intention of this Code of Conduct to provide a guideline to the players and executive of the club on what behaviours the club finds unacceptable and disciplinary procedures arising from any player behaving in what is construed to be an unacceptable manner whilst representing the club.

When the player signs for the club, they become representatives of the club and are bound by the terms of membership to adhere to the club's rules and expectations of player conduct. When representing the club, the player will:

* Be of smart appearance

* Refrain from using threatening or abusing language or actions to colleagues, opposition and officials

* Maintain discipline during games by playing in the spirit of the game

* Respect all decisions made by the executive and the Athletic Union

* Attend all training, matches and meetings as directed by the executive

* Have the utmost respect for team-mates and their abilities

* To put maximum effort and pride into representing the club

Unacceptable behaviour will be failure to adhere to any of the above. The list is not exhaustive and the executive may change the definitions of unacceptable behaviour when they deem in necessary during a quorum meeting.

Any player found in breach of these rules will be verbally warned by the Chairman/Captain that this behaviour is not acceptable. If the player continues to breach the rules, they will be asked to explain their actions to the executive. If the explanation is not sufficient, the player will be suspended from the club for a period no longer than 2 weeks. The player will then return to the club on a 2 week probationary period, during which any further breach will result in permanent exclusion. At the end of the probationary period, the player's progress will be reviewed by the executive who will decide what, if any, further action is required.

If the offence is of a serious nature, it is at the executive's discretion to move to the later stages of the disciplinary process.

Any player receiving 2 dismissals during one season will be required to explain their actions to the executive.

Any player excluded from the club will have their membership withdrawn and the AU will be informed of the exclusion and may decide on further action. Any player excluded will forfeit their membership fee and voting entitlement in general meetings.

Any player may appeal against any decision made by the club in writing to the club Chairman/Captain. This will be dealt with initially during an emergency meeting of the executive and then during a meeting with the player and the executive. If the player does not feel that this has been with satisfactorily at any stage, they are entitled to appeal to the Athletic Union. Any decision made by the AU is final and supersedes any decision made by the club and its executive.

All players must be available to play on Wednesday and Saturdays, it is your responsibility to check the team sheet and contact your team captain as soon as possible, whether or not you will be able to play. Failure to do so may jeopodise your position which will be at the discretion of the captain.

It is compulsory that everyone attends training in the same uniform. This will consist of;

* Training Jacket (Red University Jacket)

* Training T-Shirt (Reebok Top)

* Black Shorts

* Black Socks
