Staff Purplecards

If you are a member of university staff, you may wish to purchase a staff purplecard. It costs £10 and allows you to join clubs & societies as well as accessing LUSU discounts at the LUSU Shop, Central and Sugarhouse. Some of the retailers in town will also allow you to access their discounts. You can get your staff purplecard online here.

Non-student card

If you are not a student or member of staff at the university but still wish to participate in a student club or society, you will need to register for a 'Non-student Card'. These cost £10, which covers the insurance required for anyone involved in our clubs and societies. Unfortunately, non-student members cannot register for the Purple, Red or NUS-extra cards as these are for Student members of the university only. To register for a non-student card you will need to be over 18 years old.

You will need to register online here for a non-student card. You will need to bring proof of age with you when you come to collect your card [passport or driving licence].
