What is One World Week?
One World Week is a week long programme of events organised by many different groups to celebrate the diversity of culture and experience in the world, and raise awareness about environmental and social justice issues. The Lancaster University One World Week is part of a national movement, the website for which can be found

When is One World Week?
Week 9 Lent term
Why don't you hold One World Week in October?
The national One World Week this year will be 22-29 October. Unfortunately this is very close to the start of the Michaelmas term. Placing the week at the end of the lent term allows us plenty of time to plan events, and it overlaps with fair trade fortnight, which helps the university to achieve fair trade status.
