All of the trips can be done in one day, leaving Lancaster in the morning, about 9am, and getting back at about 9pm - 10pm.

Although they are intended to be day trips many of the places do offer accommodation and they could quite easily be made into short breaks lasting a weekend or so. The details for accommodation are not included however they can usually be found by contacting any of the places listed in the 'for more information' section.

Alternatively, tourist leaflets for all of these places may be found in the Student's Union Advice Centre and many have details of accommodation.
