Counselling Service: The counselling service offers a confidential, professional service to all members of the University and is situated in Furness College, room B105. The counselors are trained to deal with a range of concerns varying from short term personal, social, family or academic worries to longer term, often more complex, psychological problems; Office hours are Monday to Wednesday 9am to 5.30pm, Thursday to Friday 9am to 5pm and they can be contacted via phone on 01524 92690 or by email on counselling@lancaster.ac.uk. Dental Clinic: The dentist is situated next to the Bailrigg House at the north end of campus. The clinic offers NHS and private treatment and is BUPA-accredited and treatment is free to students with a current AG1 certificate. Opening times are: 9am to 1pm and 1.30pm to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Appointments can be made by phoning internal 94595, and an emergency call-out service is also available.
Doctors: Students registered with the campus doctors' practice can be seen by a doctor at either the Balirigg House, contact telephone number: internal 94130, external 01524 387780, or the surgery in town, 38 King Street telephone number 01524 32294.

Harassment: Every one of us has the right to study or work freely in an environment in which out dignity and privacy are respected, Lancaster University provides a harassment network, which consists of both women and men who are all trained to deal with cases of harassment. They are there to listen and help you explore what action you can take, contact the network at HarassNet@lancaster.ac.uk

Nightline: Need a chat? Or any useful phone numbers to point you in the right direction? You can ring Lancaster University's own confidential listening and information service, run by students for students, anytime throughout term time on: campus X94444 (internal), or off campus 01524 594444(external).
Nurse Unit: The nurse unit is located at the rear of the Reception Building and is open 24 hours a day; access during the day is via the walkway over the underpass or through reception, after 6pm access is via the Reception Lodge only. The experienced nursing team can provide information and advice on general health matters, minor ailments, sexual health and contraception (including emergency contraception), and stress reduction amongst many more. Pharmacy: The pharmacy is situated alongside Bailrigg House at the North of campus, and is available to dispense prescriptions and pharmacy medicines are available to buy. Open Hours are: 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm Monday to Friday.

Student Support: The student support office is located at University House, A floor. Room 35 and offers a student support network to provide advice on a range of problems and issues including welfare problems such as insomnia, mental health issues and a financial and disabilities service.
