The Inter College Football League

All matches must be officiated by a qualified referee and anyone who is qualified and wishes to offer their services for a payment of £18 per match then please contact the Sports Co-ordinator regarding registration.

Anyone wishing to play in the Football League must be in possesion of a purple card and a sports centre basic membership.

The league is affiliated to the Lancashire Football Association and any red and yellow card bookings will be sent to the LFA and individuals will incure fines which must be paid to the LFA. If a player does not pay the fine then this will result in both college teams being suspended.

The league is split into two sections named the Football A league and the Football B league.

The A league matches take place on the grass pitches with a 2pm kick off and the B League matches take place on the astro turf. All the fixtures are on the fixture and results web pages.

There is also an Inter College Football Cup which all 18 teams are eligible to enter at a cost of £5 per team. The referee cost per match will be shared by the teams on the day and will be paid beforehand to the Sports Co-ordinator.

As a team member you will incurr costs such as referee payments per match, club affiliation to the Lancashire FA, team entry to the league and possibly training facility costs. Please check these costs out with your team captain.

per college to cover both the A and B team

Referee costs per year per team is £72

Team entry to the league is £10 and this amount covers the trophies for the winning teams
