Get Home Safely!
Although Lancaster is please take care when walking in town or on campus. Attack alarms are available from the Women's Office in LUSU for £1.
The Women's Bus continues to run from the underpass at 30 mins past the hour from 5:30pm until 11:30pm every weekday evening (and from 5:35pm to 11:35pm from South West Campus). The bus costs 85p (or it's free with a bus pass/return ticket) and will take you as near to your door as it can.
LUSU runs an emergency taxi scheme alongside A1 taxis (opposite Paddy Mulligans Pub), which enables you to get home safely if you have run out of money or are stranded in town. Simply call A1 taxis on 01524 35666, when the taxi arrives hand over your library card to the driver. They then take you home and you pay for your journey the following morning at the LUSU information desk plus £1 extra for using the service.
If you have any questions about any of this, or need to talk about anything that may be related to these issues, please feel free to pop into my office (in the LUSU advice centre beneath Spar) to talk confidentially.
