LANCASTER UNIVERSITY BASKETBALL MEN'S SOCIETY
Welcome to Lancaster University Basketball Men's Society's page. We provide the highest order of men's basketball for all Lancaster University affiliates. Currently with two teams; 1st Team competing in BUCS (British Universities & Colleges Sport) Men's Northern Tier 3A League and a newly introduced 2nd Team, with our 1st team also competing in the BUCS Men's Northern Conference Cup, we welcome ALL levels of skill/play, beginner or not, experience or NO experience, EVERYBODY is WELCOME! We also aim to provide opportunities for ALL interested in basketball, competitive or not; recreational sessions, scrimmages, 3v3 tournaments, college leagues, intra-university friendly games, etc.
Furthermore, our teams get to compete in the Roses Tournament (The Roses Tournament is an annual sports competition between Lancaster University and the University of York in England, often described as the largest inter-university sports tournament in Europe - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roses_Tournament).
Membership
Collected membership fees go to developing basketball and basketball experience(s) for all at the university. You do not need to be a player on any of our teams to be a member of the society!
